What is Genoa like? 1 Day Itinerary

Genoa is one of the largest cities in Italy and the birthplace of Christopher Columbus. It is often shadowed by other cities like Florence or Venice but is totally worth visit it. It has a long history, it was a main naval center so it is famous for the old port and it has been a European Capital of Culture in 2004. So, what to see in Genoa in just one day? Let's start!

Walking tour of Cinque Terre

Here's an itinerary to discover the Cinque Terre, a portion of coast in the Liguria region, composed by 5 villages. Let's start!

First of all, i strongly suggest you to reach it by train, as the streets are very narrow and winding. From La Spezia you will reach the first village, Riomaggiore, in less then 10 minutes and each village is reachable in one or two minutes by train.
